The Simplex 4100-0650 battery shelf adds room for 50 Ah batteries in a Simplex 4100 cabinet. First, the shelf installs in a two-bay control cabinet. Then, the shelf raises the battery-capacity ceiling from 33 Ah to 50 Ah. As a result, the panel runs longer on standby and through extended secondary-power events.

Without the shelf, a two-bay 4100 cabinet limits to 33 Ah of battery. Specifically, the 4100-0650 lifts that limit to 50 Ah. In addition, the shelf supports the 4100 / 4100U / 4100ES cabinet families. Furthermore, the shelf ships as a sub-assembly for field installation.

When to Specify

Order the 4100-0650 when the standby calculation pushes the cabinet past 33 Ah. Then, pair the shelf with a battery set sized for the actual load. Also, confirm shelf clearance against the cabinet’s installed modules before ordering. As a result, the battery layout meets both standby duration and physical-fit requirements.
